Steven Papageorge Hair Salon (SP) opened on November 17th, 1983 at 910 Noyes St., Evanston, IL. The salon opened its doors with Steven and one other stylist with zero clientele. By 1987, SP salon had 11 hairstylists and opened its second Evanston location at 910 Noyes St. to meet demand. By 1991, both locations were outgrown, so the Noyes location was moved to a larger space in the Orrington Hotel. In 2004, both locations were merged to the current 1721 Sherman Ave. location.
Between making the North Shore beautiful, Steven and Analie Papageorge found time to open Steven Papageorge Hair Academy in 2002. They did so because they have an intense passion for the beauty industry and wanted to spread their knowledge. Many of SP's stylists even graduated from the academy!
Through the years, SP has stayed current and relevant. From the traditional foil highlights to the more recent babylight and balayage highlights, stylists are constantly getting in-house training to make sure that their product meets your demand. With the 35+ services offered, there is something for all!
Steven Papageorge Hair Salon has called Evanston home for 35 years and is looking forward to another 35+ years!
